Functionality is an important aspect of my practice. My work is designed for everyday use and is dishwasher safe.

My ceramics are not suitable for use in the microwave or oven. Like all ceramics they are susceptible to thermal shock. Thermal shock happens when an item is moved from somewhere hot to somewhere cold quickly and vice versa.

I use a semi matte glaze on a lot of my work. Like all matte glazes, cutlery will mark them over time. Cutlery marks can be removed from the glaze with a ceramic cleaner.
